I found this video from a recently featured news segment about street drifting in Japan. Interesting to see how the media feels about the sport we love so much.
This past weekend was USDM Jam in Mie, Japan. I almost didn’t get coverage from this event, but luckily my friend & photographer Masaki Hamashima was able to get the time off of work to make the 2+ hour drive from Osaka to Mie. Major thanks, Masaki!

The release of the production model Scion FR-S has stirred up a lot of commotion recently. Even though it’s not available to the public yet, aftermarket giants like HKS and Falken have already built 2 FR-S’s to compete in D1GP in Japan. Nobuteru Taniguchi will pilot the HKS car, while Tetsuya Hibino pilots the Falken car.
D1GP, hurry up & come back to the US!
